Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Ghost ("the Service"), operated at ghostsearch.dev by morninglab ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Description of Service

Ghost is an ammunition price comparison and intelligence platform. We aggregate publicly available pricing data from US ammunition retailers and present it in a searchable, filterable format with analytical tools including BUY/HOLD/WAIT signals based on historical price trends.

Ghost does not sell ammunition. We do not process transactions, handle payments, ship products, or hold inventory. When you click through to a retailer, you leave Ghost and interact directly with that retailer under their own terms and policies.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use Ghost. By using the Service, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and are legally permitted to purchase ammunition in your jurisdiction. Ghost does not verify your eligibility to purchase ammunition -- that is between you and the retailer.

User Accounts and Alerts

Ghost does not require user accounts. Some features (price alerts, saved searches, watchlists) require an email address. You are responsible for providing a valid email address and for any activity associated with it. You can unsubscribe from alerts at any time using the link included in every alert email.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service at a rate that exceeds normal human usage or degrades performance for other users
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication mechanisms, or security measures
• Reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit Ghost's aggregated pricing data without written permission
• Use the Service for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
• Submit false, misleading, or spam content through contact forms or other inputs

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate access for users who violate these terms, with or without notice.

Pricing Data and Accuracy

Ghost aggregates pricing data from third-party retailer websites. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee that all prices, stock statuses, and product details are correct at the time you view them. Prices and availability change frequently and may differ from what is shown on Ghost.

Always verify the final price, shipping cost, and product details directly on the retailer's website before completing a purchase.Ghost is not responsible for pricing errors, out-of-stock items, or discrepancies between our data and the retailer's current offering.

BUY/HOLD/WAIT Signals

Ghost's BUY/HOLD/WAIT signals are algorithmic recommendations based on comparing current prices to historical averages. They are not financial advice, investment guidance, or guaranteed predictions. Signal accuracy depends on data quality, market conditions, and factors beyond our control.

You should use signals as one input among many when making purchasing decisions. Ghost is not liable for any purchasing decisions you make based on our signals or data.

Affiliate Relationships

Ghost may earn commissions through affiliate partnerships with retailers. When you click a link to a retailer and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate relationships do not influence how we rank, sort, or display pricing data. Results are sorted by cost-per-round (CPR) by default.

Any sponsored or promoted listings will be clearly labeled as such.

Intellectual Property

The Ghost name, logo, design, code, and original content are the property of morninglab. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on our Service without prior written consent.

Pricing data displayed on Ghost originates from third-party retailers and remains their property. Our compilation, normalization, analysis, and presentation of that data is our original work.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ghost, morninglab, and their owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to: purchasing decisions based on our data or signals, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, or any reliance on information provided through the Service.

Ghost is a free service. Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed zero dollars ($0).

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ghost, morninglab, and their owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these terms at any time by updating this page. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
